Thank you!

March 11, 2010

For two days, on March 1st and 2nd, 2010, our speakers and participants have debated on many issues surrounding prevention and early intervention.

From fieldworkers detailing their everyday actions to academics presenting the larger framework of prevention policies, the variety of interventions and positions has enriched a debate on a few key issues such as evaluation and partnerships. Central in the exchange was the question « how does one effectively help children in need ? » and the desire, shared by all, to provide compassionate and intelligent care to those most in need.

What we’ve learnt in those two days, the ties that were made, will not be idle. Our aim is to continue our effort with the expert team and IPACY handbook, and to continue promoting socio-educative action as both an efficient instrument for preventing destructive behaviour (including crime) and a humanistic vision of society.

We would like to thank all participants and speakers.

If you would like to receive more information on IPACY, as well as associations Fryshuset and Mission Possible, please keep looking up our weblog and do not hesitate to email us at florabolter.mp@free.fr
